Coburn Place offers compassionate support and safe housing choices for survivors of domestic violence and their children. They lift survivors-and their children- up so they can soar, illuminating a path forward to restore hope and promote healing. They serve everyone - cisgender, transgender and non-binary survivors. Breaking the cycle of abuse creates stronger people, stronger families and - ultimately - stronger communities.
I hope you will join me to support Coburn Place in the important work that they do. 100% of the proceeds from this sale will go directly to Coburn Place so they can continue to empower and support people in need. All supplies and time have been donated. Every single cent of every single purchase will directly support survivors of domestic violence. I appreciate your consideration and hope you will take a look at the many items I have created for this sale. While I hope you will enjoy the jewelry, please know that you are also doing good and empowering survivors in an incredibly difficult situation.
My Story...
For several years I have worked to raise money for Coburn Place by selling my jewelry. I became interested in this organization through a very dear friend and colleague who serves on their board. In addition to learning about all the good work Coburn Place does, I must also admit that due to my own personal struggles with relationships, I feel a special connection to their mission to empower survivors of domestic violence.
Like many women, I have struggled with confidence throughout my life. However, in my 53 years I have learned a few things. Especially in the last three years, I have spent a lot of time thinking about what's important to me and what life I want to live. I've spent so much of my life trying to please others and feeling like I'm always falling short. I beat myself up over things that shouldn't be my priority. What I know now is that I am enough and I've had enough. I want to move through my remaining years more at peace with who I am and embracing myself. I want to surround myself with people who support me and love me unconditionally. I am so fortunate to have so many amazing people in my life who do just that. Of course we all have struggles, but I hope you will join me on this journey to find peace with ourselves. You are enough.
